Support with a Direct Donation
If you would like to be part of this landmark production, you can make a direct contribution to Teatro do Vão.
Producing Brokeback Mountain for the first time in Portugal represents a total investment of €100,000. Thanks to the generosity of our institutional partners and private supporters — including the first round of fundraising at Bica do Sapato — we have already raised €55,000.
We now have €45,000 left to raise, and we are counting on your support to help us reach the finish line.
Every contribution — big or small — brings us closer to the successful Portuguese premiere of Brokeback Mountain at Teatro da Trindade in February 2026.
To make things easier, we’ve created several donation tiers that come with special benefits for our supporters. Of course, all contributions are welcome and deeply appreciated.

ABOUT THE FUNDRAISING EVENT
This first and special gathering brought together friends, patrons, and supporters who played a vital role in making this landmark production possible.
Guests enjoyed an exclusive lunch prepared by Chef Milton Anes at Bica do Sapato, paired with selected wines from Quinta de Adorigo and a stunning view over the Tagus River. The space was decorated with flowers and natural arrangements curated by Campo Culture, creating an atmosphere of warmth, artistry, and community.
The afternoon featured storytelling, music, and conversation - a celebration of theatre and the collective spirit behind it.
All proceeds from this event go directly to Teatro do Vão, supporting the February 2026 premiere of Brokeback Mountain at Teatro da Trindade.
